ACBP Launch Event

ACBP’s Launch event was a resounding success! With close to a hundred people in attendance and its membership base rapidly growing, ACBP has gotten off to a great start. Members gathered for a drinks reception at the Croatian Embassy in London to meet new people and reconnect with friends.
The atmosphere was lively and friendly, and the evening spilled over into a nearby pub. A common phrase heard throughout the evening was “I didn’t even know there were this many of us in London!”
Our host, the Croatian Ambassador Igor Pokaz, gave a welcoming address. Following this, founding members Kresimir Krajnovic and Margareta Klincic Tremac spoke about ACBP’s purpose and vision.
They outlined how ACBP was launched to serve as a forum for Croatians to come together, form connections, support and help each other in both their personal and professional lives. Furthermore, ACBP seeks to help maintain a cohesive Croatian community in the UK — a home away from home.
We seek to build on this momentum and our next event is a pub meet on May 25th. If you know others who would like to join our burgeoning society, please spread the word.
