This year we hosted the ACBP & British-Croatian Society Joint Christmas Dinner at The Old Brewery in Greenwich and it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable way to kick off the festive season.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and it was truly lovely to see so many colleagues, friends, and community members come together to celebrate the end of the year.
Events like this remind us how valuable it is to connect in person, share a meal, and take a moment to appreciate the people we work and collaborate with.
Here’s to more great conversations, new connections, and continued collaboration in 2026.

This event, held at the Croatian Embassy in London in partnership with Med&X, brought together top academics and medical professionals to spur innovation in biomedicine.
A key highlight was Dr. Alen Juginovic’s lecture, "The Role of Sleep in Health and Longevity," where he discussed the harmful effects of sleep deprivation with fun insights—like why coffee keeps us awake and why yawning is contagious. The evening also featured a panel discussion and networking session, offering valuable opportunities for idea exchange and collaboration.

For those feeling homesick for Croatian food and sorry they couldn't be on the Adriatic coast, this was the remedy! 60 ACBP members spent the afternoon in Regent's park chatting with good company, listening to Croatian songs and enjoying vast amounts of Croatian food and drinks. The event was also designed to be family friendly.

ACBP’s Launch event was a resounding success! With over 80 people in attendance and over 120 members currently signed up, ACBP has gotten off to a great start. The atmosphere was lively and friendly, and the evening spilled over into a nearby pub.
